Grift is the name of the Swedish artist and multi-instrumentalist Erik Gärdefors. Grift’s ambition is to capture the feeling of desolation and existential questions, and express this through music, lyrics and images.
During spring 2020, Grift will have a new full-length album released by Nordvis Produktion. The album will be a natural continuation of the two previous albums – a mixture of blackened metal/rock and sacred neo-folk music. For this album Erik will invite friends and artists to participate with their unique abilities.
Grift perform live, both as a full-scale band with four members, and alone with nothing but his voice and acoustic guitar.
