During his photographic journey through Israel and the Palestinian West Bank, Josef Koudelka was accompanied by the Israeli director Gilad Baram (*1981). During their journey through the Holy Land, Baram begins to document the master photographer. At each enigmatic and visually spectacular location - which soon becomes a new “Koudelka photo” - Baram's camera reveals Koudelka's way of working, his perception of the places, his thoughts on the past and the people he encounters. A fascinating dialogue emerges between Baram’s cinematography and Koudelka’s still photography.
